Fields#
Indented fields belong to the field above them. [] marks the items of a list. A field that is not required may be left out; the default is used.
| Field | Type | Required | Default | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
id | id | Yes | Namespaced id, e.g. "core.player.rory-calder" | |
code | nation code | Yes | The 3-letter code players, venues and events use (e.g. "ENG", "NED"). | |
name | text, up to 60 characters | Yes | The country's name, e.g. "Netherlands" (translatable with a locale patch). | |
demonym | text, up to 40 characters | The people's adjective, e.g. "Dutch": the welcome letter, the feed's home crowd ("the Dutch crowd") and the new-career summary use it; without one they keep their plain wording. | ||
inSentence | text, up to 70 characters | |||
flag | file path | An image of the flag (a path in the mod, e.g. "assets/flags/xyz.svg"; 3:2 works best). Without one, the game's own flag for the code is drawn, or a plain tile with the code for a country it doesn't know. | ||
market | number, 0 to 5 | Sponsors pay this much more (or less) for a player from here: 1.2 = +20% (default 0.9). | ||
region | text, up to 40 characters | Home region: players from nations in the same region count as local to each other's venues (travel prices, the crowd, local qualifiers). The core's "uk" is England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Pattern: ^[a-zA-Z][a-zA-Z0-9-]*$ | ||
circuit | text, up to 40 characters | Exhibition circuit: bookers pick local pros and cheap trips within it. The core's "homeIsles" is the UK and Ireland. Pattern: ^[a-zA-Z][a-zA-Z0-9-]*$ | ||
faces | map (key: value) | How often each face-library region is picked for this nation's players (relative weights, e.g. { "northwest-europe": 80, "african": 10 }). Default: England's mix. | ||
avatar | one of the options | Palette for illustrated avatars (default: an even mix). Options: england, celtic, nordic, central, south, newworld, eastasia, seasia. | ||
area | text, up to 40 characters | Travel load: the area (a short hop), the continent and the time zone (hours ahead of UTC). The load settings' areas, continents and timeZones (data/load.json) win over these. Pattern: ^[a-zA-Z][a-zA-Z0-9-]*$ | ||
continent | text, up to 40 characters | Pattern: ^[a-zA-Z][a-zA-Z0-9-]*$ | ||
timeZone | number, -12 to 14 | |||

floor | number, 0 to 100 | |||
